Terms of Service

Agreement

App Buddy is operated by Jayden Yu (“App Buddy”, “we”, “us”). By using App Buddy, with or without an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Who can use App Buddy

You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account.

The service

App Buddy provides online tools for everyday tasks. You can try tools as a guest, and an account gives you your own credits, plans, and settings. We may add, change, or retire tools and features.

Credits

• Running a tool spends credits. What a credit covers is shown on the pricing page (for Question Finder, a set number of comments analyzed). Usage is rounded up once per analysis.
• Plan credits are granted each calendar month (UTC), including on annual plans, and don’t carry over. Trial credits last for the trial.
• Credits you buy in a pack don’t expire while your account is open, and they’re used only after your plan credits run out.
• Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred or sold, and end when your account is deleted or terminated.
• If an analysis stops early, you’re charged only for what was processed. Invalid links and analyses that fail before processing starts cost nothing.

Plans, trials, and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel, change plans, or switch billing intervals in Manage Billing; Stripe shows the new price, timing, and any proration before you confirm. After you cancel, paid access continues until the end of the current period.
• First-time subscribers may get a free trial. A payment method is required to start it; you won’t be charged if you cancel before it ends. One trial per person — creating accounts to get more trials isn’t allowed.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases charged once through Stripe. Buying one never starts a subscription.
• We may change prices. We’ll tell subscribers before a change affects them, and it applies from your next billing period; you can cancel before then.
• If a payment fails, we may pause paid features after a grace period until it’s resolved.

Refunds

You can cancel at any time. Payments are non-refundable, including partial subscription periods and credits you’ve used. As an exception, if you haven’t used any credits from a credit pack, you can ask for a refund of that pack within 14 days of buying it by emailing jiaweiyu2009@gmail.com. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the law.

YouTube content

By using Question Finder for YouTube you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Comments belong to their authors, and you’re responsible for how you use them. App Buddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

AI output

Question detection is done by an AI model and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check results before relying on them. Comment text is shown exactly as YouTube provides it and is never rewritten by AI.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

• break the law or others’ rights, or YouTube’s or Google’s terms;
• get around credit limits, rate limits, or security measures;
• create multiple accounts to get extra trials or free credits;
• scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service;
• use results to harass, spam, or harm anyone.

Ownership

App Buddy, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us. You may use the results you get (such as CSV exports) for your own purposes, subject to YouTube’s terms and the rights of comment authors.

Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. If we close your account without cause, we’ll refund any unused credit packs.

Disclaimers

App Buddy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every comment on a video will be processed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, App Buddy won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to cover App Buddy’s losses from claims caused by your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and, for material changes, email account holders before they take effect. Using App Buddy after that means you accept the updated terms.
